Training That Really
Works - back
to basics
An
Introduction to BIZCOMM.
Our
core program is called BIZCOMM An Interpersonal Skills Management
System. BIZCOMM focuses on the development of effective and
professional communication skills - the essence of successful
management. The program is delivered over 8 consecutive weeks,
one-3 hour session/week. Groups are maximized at 8 participants.
BIZCOMM gives your managers the opportunity to acquire and
retain the basic skill set needed to develop themselves into
a professional management team. Essentially, BIZCOMM eliminates
managerial malpractice.
Prior
to training, we conduct an interpersonal skills assessment
with each participant. The assessment evaluates a manager's
ability to handle every day situations and challenges. The
results are then shared with the individual during a one-on-one
meeting with the facilitator. This approach offers participants
a unique opportunity to understand their strengths and areas
of improvement as well as ask any questions regarding the
training.
Our
training does not rely on motivational or inspirational methods.
Positive thinking is fundamental to learning, but on its own
will not foster permanent and meaningful change. In order
to make a real difference, positive thinking must be accompanied
by practical, easy-to-use transferable skills.
The
Management Development Group recognizes that lasting change
not only takes motivation, but also time, practice, and support.
To this end, all group learning is supplemented by private
coaching sessions. This means we work individually with each
learner on areas that may need additional attention. These
sessions are unlimited for the duration of the program and
for 3 months upon completion. The combination of group and
individual coaching sessions guarantees a learning system
unequaled by any other training organization.
Our
client organizations range in size from 150 to 2000 employees.
Companies such as Budd Canada Inc, Kuntz Electroplating Inc,
Krug Furniture Inc, Boehmer Box Corporation, and A.G. Simpson
Co. Limited are all reaping the benefits of their commitment
to continuous improvement through BIZCOMM.
